Dinner a l’Art

Tom and Dabney opened their gallery as the location for a Dinner a l’ Art fundraiser for the Tucson Museum of Art, on February 20, 2010.  The Board of Trustees of the Museum hosted the dinner, and Ron Wassell of Blue House Catering provided dishes from many different deserts of the world.  The event was fun for us, and we think the guests enjoyed the unusual venue as well.  Drinks and hor d’oevres took place in the gallery, and  dinner was served in the glassblowing studio. The centerpiece for each table was one of Tom’s latest creations- a Boulder made of glass, in keeping with the desert theme.  During dessert, Tom entertained the group with glass history,  stories, and some brief razz-ma-taz blowing at the furnace.

Our thanks to the many people who support the Tucson Museum of Art.
