Wes Hunting opened his studio in central Wisconsin after studying at Kent State under Henry Halem in the late 70’s. Much of his work has incorporated “drawings” with murrini on his blown vessels. Assisted by his son, glass artist Wesley Justin Hunting, the duo create fluid, vibrant vessels & sculptures that are truly one-of-a-kind. A dear friend of the Gallery, the Huntings collaborated on a body of work with Tom Philabaum and his team that resulted in the “WIRED Project” – see more of this series under “Hunting & Philabaum Collaboration”.
